What to Do When the Internet Goes Down?
If you are an SEO company , you probably keep all of your files online, and your tracking, and obviously all of your work is also online, so what do you do if your internet provider has an outage, and the internet goes down? This can be a hard thing to do. Some people at an SEO company have plenty to do when the internet goes down, others are not so lucky. Here are a few things you can do when the internet goes down. If you are one of the people who can do some things offline while the internet is down, don’t forget to delegate to those who really have no way to work on things.
1. Write Reports
No one likes to do them and they are entirely necessary. If you have some of your information off line instead of stored on google docs or something, you will be able to write out a few reports. This can be the perfect opportunity to get your reports ready so that at the end of the month you will only have a few extra charts and some data to add to the report. If this is the end of the month, you probably need to be working on this anyway, and it can be a good excuse to focus on this.
2. Organize
Get yourself organized. Actually this is probably the majority of what you should do when the internet goes down. Put your tasks in order of importance on your to-do list if they aren’t already, flag important emails in outlook, sort the clutter on your desk, although hopefully there is little of that to do.
3.File
This is fairly straight forward, but very necessary every so often. The thing about this, is that it is a two part job. There is the filing, but you also need to organize the extra files and the old files when you are done.
4. Write something up. If you have articles, press releases, or website information to write and don’t know what to write about without looking at the internet, think about something to write about your own company . If you don’t know what you are supposed to write up, look at some of the things that have happened in the past few weeks for your company and write up a press release to get the word out about your successes.
How to Repair Bad Credit
With the loss of jobs lately, bad credit is becoming a worse and worse problem, and fewer agencies are willing to lend to someone who does not have good credit history, and it can be hard to get services you need such as electricity and water if they think you won’t pay them on time. Here are a few ways to get your credit back on track and make sure that you can get your life back together.
Starting with the obvious, pay all your bills on time.
This is the way that most people throw their credit off, with late payments. If a payment is over thirty days late it is guaranteed to be reported to the three major credit agencies. If it is over fifteen days late, there is still a chance it will be reported. Try not to make late payments. Some people in the early stages have to set up a budget, and get a payday loan to make sure a few of their bills aren’t late. This is not ideal, but as long as you don’t rely on the loans you will be able to get off of this life support quickly and survive the hard times. On the flip side, if you do pay your loans off on time and your bills on time, your credit score will immediately start to improve.
Avoid other types of debt.
Don’t file for bankruptcy if you can help it. Don’t let your taxes go unpaid either. Both of these sit on your credit for years and can haunt you even when you are paying everything else off on time.
Get a pay as you go credit card.
Pay as you go credit cards will still improve your credit as long as you keep a sufficient amount of money in the account to cover your expenses and you add more money as necessary. While this will take some time, your credit will build up again slowly over time.
These are only a few tips for how to repair bad credit, what tricks have you tried that work?
