Planning a visit to Palm Beach can almost seem as exciting as the actual journey. Getting there, however, does show that there’s nothing like the real experience, and many visitors have been pleasantly surprised that the city constantly surpasses all high expectations. Palm Beach luxury hotels do live up to their reputation, and a lovely time is to be had by all.

Planning for a trip is almost like planning for a new dance company, and again, getting there proves even more delightful than the anticipation. 2010 was the inaugural season for Explore Dance Theatre . The company started in an attempt to fill a void left by Ballet Florida, and the promise of coming seasons means that dance is very much alive and well in Palm Beach.

The company’s founders, Tracy Mozingo and Douglas Gawriljuk have been working in the area for 17 years, and their expertise is certainly in ballet. They’ve been very proficient teachers, and now they finally get to demonstrate their abilities as creative artists willing to push the form in new directions. It’s not all ballet here, but a wonderful mix of forms. The first results have been breathtaking and provocative, suggesting that a conversation has begun in the form of movement, and the coming years will see the discussion develop.
